Today, I did the decoration for Christmas in my house! My family really like such a event. Also, I like this season because Christmas makes me happy and exciting. First, I decorated with a Christmas tree. The tree would be shining tinsel. Next, I put on small articles at various rooms. My favorite small article is small sleeping Santa Claus:) This is very cute! When I was child, my grand mother bought it for me. I have been liked it.
Finally, I decorated with a Christmas goods on the front door. My house already prepare for Christmas! I want to spend happy Christmas!!

NABE party
Hi! How are you~? Today was "Nabe鍋 party" with my friends. Do you know it? It party is very popular among young people. I went to order friend’s house with my friend. My friend’s birthday was tomorrow, so I and older friend planning her surprise birthday party!
First, we prepared dinner. It kind was curry Nabe鍋!! This was first time that I ate curry taste. It was so delicious. We prepared before eat. I cut Onions, Potatoes, carrots, chickens. We putted a lot of various foods. Thos nabe was a curry soup. After that, rice put on the nabe, Also cheese put on the top!! It looks soo good. The curry and cheeses was really much, soooo delicious.
You should try it! And we watched TV. That TV programs was funny. Because, it appeared comedians who like me. After that, we started a birthday song and took out a birthday cake for her. She looks surprised. Also, we gave a present to her. She delighted for surprised. It was a success. She said “I did not notice about that. Thank you very much guys!” We ate a birthday cake. And we enjoyed chatting a long time. We had a great time today!

Hello everyone! How are you? I watched the movie today in library with my friend. This movie was sooo interested. I really wanted to watch it before. This movie’s title was “UNCHANGED”. Do you know it? This kind is love comedy. Also, It is Disney movie. I love Disney movie because, these always makes me happy. Especially, my favorite Disney movie are Cinderella, finding nimo, Shrek, Aladin, Winnie the pooh and so on.This movie entered my favorite into Disney movies!! You should watch this movie. Parfait☆
Hello!! Today is very hot day isn't it? I can not help it these day. X(
After school, I went to "Joyfull" with my friends because, I really wanted to eat parfait. I love sweets!! I ate chocolate parfait. My friend ate green tea parfait. It was soooooo delicious and it made us happy. We enjoying talked for a while. We talked about love:) Girls likes "Girls talk" hun? We were talking for two hours!! wow
After that, I went to dorm of exchange students in KGU. I had really good time there. We ate dinner. I ate Chinese noodles soup soy sauce taste! Some exchange students shoe interested in it. I gave it for them. We talked in English a lot. My English conversation ability is poor but, I tried to speak in English. I could communicate with them:) I had a good time.[145word]

English weekend
Hi ! I really wanted to come today because, it start ENGLISH WEEKEND from today to Sunday! I did staff of English weekend! After school, we went to Nishigoushi with exchange students of KGU. We stay in a camp for practice English. First, we ate lunch box for dinner. In order to so hungry, it was so delicious:D After that, we started drinking party! It was really fun time. Almost all people got drunk X( haha
Next day, we ate Tacos. I made avocado sauce with friends and teacher!!! Of course it was good. hahaha I really like Tacos so it made me happy:) After that, we gig a lot of games in English. It was fun. At night, we did BBQ! Before the BBQ, we made a lot of rice balls. There are many shapes! Haha I ate a lot of meet and vegetables at BBQ. So, we went to hot spa! After that, we started drinking again! We had a great time! Next morning, we did some games in English again. So we went to reach of pear and orange. It was interesting and yummy! I like pear very much. Finally, English weekend was end! I had a really good time. I want to take part in English weekend next year! Also, you should do it:) [ 220words]

Today, I took three classes. After school, I went to dormitory of exchange students of KGU. So they invited me a BBQ party tonight!! I was sooo hungry, so I ate a lot of beef, vegetables etc... These were really delicious! It made me happy. We enjoyed talking all the time. After that, we drunk a lot! I thought when I get a drunk, my English to be better ,because I don't feel nervous so I will be able to relax! I could talk in English better than before. I really good time there. I love all of exchange students! They have each personalities. So they are always kind for me:) I want to know more about them. Also, Hope I and them will be close friends!!

Hello! What's up? I took a speaking class today. I like speaking class very much because it is fun! I am not good at speak English fluently but, I like to speak English. Also, I like this class’s teacher.
So today’s topic was Food And Cooking. We have to talk about topic with partner. My partner was Kana. I did a lot of questions for her. She usually eats rice and miso soup for breakfast. It made by her mother. She ate dinner in MacDonald last night. She ate teriyaki hamburger, fled potatoes and ice coffee. She cooks once a week. She really likes cooking. She can cook a curry and an omelet containing fled rice. She also likes to cook sweets. She can cook cakes and cookies. She eats out three a week. She often go joyfull. Do you know joyfull? This is family restaurant. Here is her favorite restaurant because, there are very cheap. Also, the restaurant is near her house. She can go there fifteen minutes by bicycle. Communication ability
Hello! I spend a month in Minnesota. This is my report. I will talk about Communication ability.
The first thing I noticed when I came here is that American people are really friendly. So when arrived at the airport, my host family welcomed me with a big smile. I was really happy, so I felt that American people are very kind and friendly. Do you know “Minnesotan nice”? Especially, I like “Minnesotan nice”, Minnesotan’s are polite and kind to strangers. Whenever I was really surprised that. Also, when I went to shopping, a shop assistant would speak to me say “Hello! How are you?” I thought American people often communicate with other people. I think it very good for us to be outgoing. I think many Japanese people are shy. Japanese people don’t talk very detailed because we try to know each other with a few words. This is a Japanese culture but, sometimes this gives rise to misunderstandings.
I think to communicate with people is important to live. And American people say their mind clearly. Japanese people can’t say “No”. So they always give a vague answer. I learned that to express my mind is very important. And, when we communicate important things with people, one should smile and make eye-contact. I will try to have a better communication with everyone. Finally, I want to say thank you for host family and Minnesota! [234words]

Hello! How are you? I will talk about the Mall of America in Minnesota. Have you ever been to there? Do you like shopping?? I have been to there with my host family. I had a really good time. So I want to introduce about the Moll of America! The Mall of America has more than 520 stores, 20 sit down restaurants, 30 fast food restaurants and 36 specialty food stores. There are 14 movie screens. There are 12550 parking spaces. If you want to walk completely around one level, you would walk more than 1/2 mile. The mall includes the largest indoor amusement park, an underwater aquarium, and Lego Land. Large Lego structures to look at and lots of Lego’s to play with! Did you know that you can get married at the Mall of America in the Chapel of love? Also, you can play mini golf and you can participate in simulations of flying a plane or driving a NASCA race.
Do you want to like to go there? :P If you have opportunity to go to Minnesota, you should go there! You will be able to enjoy there like me :) Ahhh~ I wanna go there again!!![200words]

Yummy
Hello~It looks delicious, isn’t it? Today, I cooked American cookies with my host mother and sisters. I really wanted to do it before. I love to cook especially, sweets! This kind is Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies. I was happy because I love chocolate! We made 2 dozen cookies. First, we prepared ingredients. These are 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 1/2 tablespoons milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 cup (1/2 of box) butter, softened to room temperature, 1 cup granulated (white) sugar, 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed 1 egg, 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.
I will introduce about how to make it. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit (175 degree Celsius). In small bowl combine cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla. Stir to combine, then set aside to let cocoa absorb milk and vanilla. Check on this mixture occasionally as you are making this cookie dough. Did you know cookie dough? I did not know that. My host mother said you should try it! I was little afraid to eat it, but it was a good! I ate a lot of cookie dough.
Next, In large mixer bowl, cream butter with beater attachment on electric mixer. Slowly add white sugar, then dark brown sugar, and cream these ingredients until fluffy. Also, add egg and cream these ingredients again. Stir cocoa mixture to the creamed butter and sugar mixture. Cream ingredients again. In a separate medium-sized bowl, combine flour and baking soda with a spoon. Slowly add this flour mixture to the creamed butter, sugar and cocoa mixture until all ingredients are combined. It removed bowl from mixer, and stir in chocolate chips and nuts with a wooden spoon until all ingredients are mixed in to dough.
And drop by large spoonfuls on to baking sheet- do not let dough touch. It will spread out while baking. Bake for 12-13 minutes. baking sheet remove from oven. Let cookies cool for 10 minutes before removing from baking sheet. Store cookies in an airtight container.

Weekend in America!
Linda’s jokes are way better than Joel’s. She makes me laugh, Joel should not tell any more bad jokes I will tell Joel when he gets back now great Linda is !haha
I will talk about my weekend. I went to moll of America on Saturday. The moll of America is the number three big malls in America. It was so big. I was really surprised! The most surprised a thing is there is roller coaster into the moll! I have never seen that in my life. I rode it with my host sisters. It was very fun.
After that, we were enjoyed shopping. I bought T-shirt at Hollister. It is my favorite brand. We walked all over the moll so I feel tired….but, I had a good time because I live shoppingJ
On Sunday, we went to a church. After that, I cooked Japanese curry for my host family. They are really looking forward to do it bit, I was afraid if they don’t like it…. When they eat it, they said “It’s really good. I like it! Thank you Aya.” When I heard that I was really happy and I feld relieved. I will try to cook other Japanese meal among my stay. I will cook Okonomiyaki!!
After that, I took a nap. I heard from my host mother that American people often take a nap on Sunday after church. Many Americans do that. So, I walked up at 5.
I went to bowling with my host sisters and a friend. I was not good at it but, it was interested!! I like bowlingJ Next, we did window shopping. I went to scrapbook store at first time. I was really fascinated by this store. So, we came home. Then, we watched a Japanese movie. My host sister Kaily likes Japanese dramas and movies. It name was “Love Complex.” Do you know it? The story was one shortly boy and one taller girl fall in love. This story was funny I thought. I liked this movie.
I felt sleepy so I went to bed. This weekend was little hard but, I had a good weekend. Have a sweet dreams~★☆

I was really fascinated by this store. So, we came home. Then, we watched a Japanese movie. My host sister Kaily likes Japanese dramas and movies. It name was “Love Complex.” Do you know it? The story was one shortly boy and one taller girl fall in love. This story was funny I thought. I liked this movie.

My goal☆
At last, I arrived to Minnesota of USA! It took about twelve hours to arrive here. Because of long fright, I was tired and I was little nervous but, my host family welcomed me with a big smile at the airport. They have a big decollate paper that written my name! I was sooo happy because, they are very kind. My nervous is gone.
My host family is Falls family. I will talk about introduction of my host family little. They are five member of family. My host father’s name is Mike. He is very gentleman. Also, he works harder for family. He likes to take pictures. My host mother’s name is Terrie. She always keeps smile and she has a sense of humor. She is good mother. My host sisters are Kaily, Miah and currie. Kaily is seventeen years old. She is interested in Japan very much. she can speak Japanese in a surprisingly so she studies Japanese at school. Miah is fifteen years old. She really likes animals. Especially she likes horses. She goes to riding school every Monday. Currie is five years old. She is really cheerful and friendly. She likes to talk very much. She makes me laugh always. I thought I am blessed with a host family. I want to spend wonderful time with my host family.

***Costume Drive***
Hello! There was a bid event for my circle. It is a costume drive. We can wear that we want to something. I wear a pink dress. I did cat costume last summer. There were many kind of costume people. It was so funny;) For example, bear(like a リラックマ) , wedding dress, baseball costume, cats, kindergarten, strange man, boy was disguise in women’s clothes, high school uniform, Pikachuu and so on. We went to the sea in Amakusa! That before, we had to pass for some orders. Mt team’s order were “ Take a picture of elephant in Ezu lake.” And “Borrow a summer song in THUTAYA.” And “ Take a Purikura in Uto moll.” We couldn’t find well. Finally we could find it! Next, we went to THUTAYA. I was so abashed because we were saw a lot of people. Maybe we were so rare parson for them.haha After that, we took a Prikura. We arrived the sea at last. I have wanted to go to the see! I really delighted! I was enjoying swim, playing beach volleyball. Also we did BBQ. I ate many meats and vegetables! It was so delicious. After that, I ate a shaved ice. It flavor was strawberry. It makes me happy. I like it. When we returning to home, we was enjoying chat with my friends. Today was soooo good day! But I was soooo tired...I want to sleep! I am looking forward to it next summer! [250words]

Hello everyone.
The day come soon that I go to the Minnesota!! I am really looking forward to going there.
I will talk about What I going to do before leaving? ... First, I must study English vocabulary. Because, I don't know many English words. I memorize at least ten English words everyday. Second, I try to speak with exchange students by going to the English lounge in my free time. I also try to speak English with my Japanese friends, if it is possible.
Next, I will talk about What am I going to do during in the program... First, I went to speak English with a lot of people. So I try to talk about many things with mu host family. I also want to help them. For example, I can help cook dishes, wash the dishes and clean rooms. Anyway, I want to talk in English! I want to be speak English with fluency. So, I also want to talk with Japanese friends in English!! We will able to skill up ability of English conversation. Also, I will teach Japanese culture. I can do penmanship. I have learned for 8 years. This is beautiful Japanese culture I think.
Finally, I will talk about What am I going to do after the program.... I want to try to with exchange students. So I want to check my English ability. Also I will receive new exchange students. I will be host family for them. I am really looking forward it! I want to continue to study English because, I don't want to forget what I learned. I will review my Minnesota's life! So I will try TOEFL and TOIEC tests.

My younger friends!
Hello :) How are you today? Today was very hot day! Rainy season has gone! I will talk about my good younger friends! Look at this picture. The boys are my younger friend. They are freshman! I got to know them at the party before they enter this collage. After that, they entered this school. We became a friend! I like them very much, because they are very interesting and funny! hahaThe left of the picture parson is soooo funny. His nickname is Maico~! It is so match for him. He is majoring economy of international. He has a nice character. His tall is short but he has an arrogant manner.haha Sometimes I got angry for his behavior but I forgive him. He always says some jokes. His jokes make me laugh :)
The right of the picture parson is so impudence but actually he is a steady young man. The after thing is good point of him I think. His nickname is Jun, but actually he has another name. haha He is majoring in English. He has a one's opinion. Sometimes he say a saucy thing.... Then I say him "Don't give me any of your cheek!"haha Also he is a hard worker.
We always talk together when we meet somewhere. We take a political science. When after the class, we enjoying talk together. We are good friend from now on.

Hi!! Today was the Star Festival!! Do you know it?? This is traditional Japanese festival! I wrote a oblong card " I hope My Minnesota's life become wonderful!!"

I went to the downtown with my friends after the school. Before that, we went to shrine for homage and to buy talisman. There are many doves in this shrine. I was amazing. So we prayed. After that, we went to downtown by walk. Today was so hot... We really tired. We arrived at downtown finally. First, we went to cloth shop. The shop did special sale! My friend brought a pink shirt but I didn’t buy anything because, I could not find good one. Next, we went to stationery shop. Why I went to there, we went to gifts of Japanese for my host family in Minnesota! There are many traditional Japanese some things. For example, a floding fan, a lot of beautiful Japanese pictures, wind ball, kaleidoscope, fans and so on. We each chose the gifts. I brought a kaleidoscope for my host sister. And I broughtthe fan whish draw beautiful Japanese woman. I hope they will glad to get it! After that, we went to Parco. We looked for some clothes. I wanted to bikine, but it was very expensive for me… we felt so tired because, we walked a long distance. We wanted to take a rest. So we decided to go to the Mac! I ate a vanilla shake and flied potatoes. It made me happy. We enjoyed chatting for a long time. We talked about a lot of things. Girl’s talk was so interesting I thinkJWe could relax. After that ,my friend drove back to my house. Today was so tired but good day!

Hard days..

Hello~~Today start in July!! SUMMER coming soon! I really like summer. I am so exciting. I want to hang out with my friends. I want to go to the see!!!!!
BUT.... I can't because I have to do things a lot. For example, I have to a lot of homework, to write my blog and book review, to study some exams and to prepare to go Minnesota and so on.
My favorite time is lunch t time. I ate lunch with my friends. This time makes me relax and happy. I really like them because they always cheer up to me.
